Palmetto has PTA Reflection Winners!

Congratulations to our art students who entered the PTA's Reflection Contest.

We have two county finalists in the visual arts category whose entries will be forwarded to Orlando to compete statewide.  

The students are Sofia Aguirre and Betzabeth Jomarron.

In addition, Anjolie Scott, Bingwei Tang and Chris Menendez each received an honorable mention.

There will be an awards ceremony on January 19 for them.  

Congratulations to them and Dr. John Salomon our Visual and Performing Arts Department head and Art Teacher!

New Year, Same Great School!

It's a new year! The best part of working at and attending a school is that we get to start over twice! The new calendar year and the new school year are always opportunities to start new... for the better!

So as we look to a new year and another opportunity to make ourselves better, we Panthers are resolving to make 2017 our best year yet! Look back to our "Pawsitive Palmetto" blog to hear more about all the amazing things our Panthers are doing! We plan to make announcements and give shoutouts.
